Sorry. Rosewood Fretboard. Damn autocorrect. I've heard P basses strung with flats on the rosewood will have a warmer sound.

Thanks a lot guys. I appreciate the help. The fan is running full speed all the time. I took the top cover off just to look at it and it was quite dirty. I'm gonna go and have it cleaned thoroughly and see if that fixes the problem. Again, thanks for all the help.
