    Fender Jazz Special 1985-89

    Hi all, I'm new to the forum. Does anyone have any info on the Fender Jazz Special (1985-89)? I'm looking to upgrade from a Peavey millenium ac-bxp. I saw one in a pawn shop and liked the feel and always wanted a Fender. Is it good for funk? I'm partial to finger-style and popping.
