I agree I started with 1x15 neo and had same issue. When adding a second whole different ballgame. Then a 4x10 neo fell in my lap now I mix and match depending on style. I typically use 4x10 and add a 1x15 for larger venue. And yes the 15s have snap. I would never just play through one.

I own the 1405E. It's ok. Multiscale on other model has better sounding b string. But my 73 P bass spanks both. Just can't beat the OG.

If you want to play a pick thats fine. But if your in the begining stages of learning start practicing 3 finger technique. If you want to ween pick completely. I started a 2 finger technique.....and have started training my self the 3 finger. Wish i would have started it years ago. Billy Sheehan...

If it's a 1001rb. i have one and when i ran it through low watt speakers such as 200 watt 8 ohm cabs x2 = 4 ohm..It was very hot. Now i run through 800 watt 8x10 4 ohm stays cool. All cabs svt ampeg. depends on the pad too. I have mine in.

Thanks Jimmy and Bassboy. They did sound fine.....but that epoxy adhesing magnet to basket seems to be starting to crack on all speakers. I'll just load it with legend b810's and avoid more heartbreak.

The original speaker didnt blow. They use epoxy to adhese the magnet to the basket and that came apart on me. i refuse to buy more of these made in vietnam speakers. otherwise known as 86-032-01. at least the legend b810 are usa made.

I mean for temporary purposes. Can't afford the matched one yet. Doubt it would hurt the sound that much. Just air value in the sealed cab. I'm ignorant!! = P
