    What type of conclusions do you personally draw from how a bass sounds unplugged?

    I have actually noticed that changing my pickups to a set that was more clear and sensitive resulted in an amplified sound a lot closer to that of my bass unplugged. Which, I actually enjoy because this particular bass sounds pretty pleasing to me un-amplified.
