So for context, my main bass is a Squier Affinity Jazz bass V (which is surprisingly good given it's a Squier Affinity). recently I've been having a problem when I turn one of the pickups all the way up, the sound just entirely cuts out, and then it just won't come back for a solid 15 minutes...

I'll take it to a tech :) Idk I'm pretty sure this bass is older than I am (It's passed through at least two other people before me) But it was my first instrument and holds some sentimental value in that regard so I don't mind investing a good bit into it.

I have changed the battery. The knobs do scratch but they also just plain don't work. The pickup also just doesn't work (I have to run it through an overdrive pedal and crank all the knobs just for it to be audible)
