Do you put your effects pedals on top of your amp/cab instead of on the floor?

I do that sometimes with an act for which I never touch the pedalboard once the show starts, only the tuner from one song to the other, but only if the stage is super cramped; using my effects very actively in my own projects I prefer to have it on the floor even if I won't switch anything.

    The Always On Pedalboard Club

I never had a fully always on pedalboard but I own a Fairfield Circuitry Modèle B which has no switch button and is always on as part of my tone with any instrument.

Which pickguard would you use on this P?

Not even a doubt for me. Black, tort, rosewood

    New Harley Benton aged/relic'd series

I would totally consider it in case I needed a beater bass. Knowing how OCD I am I would cut the headstock beak, sand the logo (no offence, I'd leave it blank) and swap pickups. #stonks

I get better looking each day

Something similar happened to me, we notice a gig we were playing that evening had used AI to make the flyer and our face were literally differed, we were Chad-ed and the Ssinger (woman) got makeup she didn't have. Gosh.

How many of your basses are 100% ready-to-go? None of mine ever are :-P

I could pick up two of my basses for a gig right now and step on stage (Epi Grabber and Fender P) The other 6 would need a setup to be playable with a 100% satisfaction but that's something I'd pull off in an afternoon to have them all ready.

Measuring Preamp Pedals' Frequency Responses (Paradriver, BDI21, Silver Peg)

Seems like Behringer's pedal name "V-Tone" is quite literal!

    Millennium Gray (Nardo Gray) finish

I work in the car paint industry and I can tell that most solid grey german cars you see are painted as follows from the factory: -primer on body -filler/undercoat for leveling -waterborne 1st coat of the tint (yes, even if solid) only mixed with thinner -thick high quality clearcoat...

Fender AVRI P Bass for great price but...

I would take away at least 20% of goldness.

Is it hypocritical to play a church gig if you’re an atheist?

I was thinking about what I would do in such situation and than I got to the thught that just like I wouldn't play at a festival organized by far-right associations I wouldn't play in a church, but that's just based on how much I disagree with both (spoiler: i disagree a LOT with both). So if my...

Suggestions wanted to protect the back of my bass!

I wouldn't mind the scratches, but if I would I'd just tape a piece of shape-cut cardboard to the back of the bass. Easy, costless, removable. Tape only sticks to a small area and if you want you could to two layers of cardboard and call it a day.

    Fancier digital gig flyers

I'm actually not sure, all I know is that when I make flyers of small graphics I don't use any AI functionality.

    THE ULTIMATE CAT THREAD

My friend's cat on my 2015 Eko combo! It serves better as a cat-stand than an amp sigh..

    Fancier digital gig flyers

I personally suggest Canva, it's a very useful tool and works fine on smartphone too. I despise those AI flyers that are more and more common. It's heavily disrespectful towards artists, just imagine if someone hires an AI virtual band instead of one of our own.. would it be nice? (talking...
