i have been toying with this idea. im actually getting plenty of bass. im just like every idiot that likes a cabinet mountain behind me. the 2x15s are plenty enough. i can feel the bass through my feet and torso when im playing. my synth patches are pretty brutal.

i recently saw this band live. you are right, they sounded absolutely amazing live. good overall mix and very complimentary tones. nice to be able to discern those nice southern rock, dual guitar harmonies. ive never actually heard any of their recordings. not a big fan of CMT.

4 years later but wow, what a beautifully written bass line.

alot of times ill try and find a chord chart. from there i can usually piece the bass line together by ear. alot of times all the fancy bass work you hear is just connecting those chords together by some kind of scale or arpeggiation of the chord. and though i agree with one poster above that...
