    Excellent news direct from Ryan Martin at Schecter, the body is indeed mahogany and all the sites stating it is basswood are incorrect. Ordering one today, the thinking time is over! :hyper:

    Bump! I've been thinking about a new bass and the schecter stiletto extreme 4 looks fave at the moment but I'm a bit confused by some of the reviews....the schecter site says it has a mahogany body but the places selling it in the UK state it as Basswood. Any definitive verdict?
