Laney G300 head from '94
Its the old stereo 150w a side one with the 15 band graphic and a built in crossover so loads of cab options.
2 laney 4x10 cabs from '94 (I also used to use 2 HH 1X15 PA subs under them at the same time from the same head - unbelievable trouser flappage)
The G300 was a tank, it took a hell of a beating, eventually it succumbed to the damp in a flat I was renting (Had 3" of fur coming out of the walls, a lot of my stuff was destroyed

)
Replaced it with a Markbass SA450 last weekend.
Now the G300 was a cool head, and I made the most of it, but I have to say the SA450 really drives those cabs way better than it ever did, they sound way tighter and punchier, and deeper too, than they ever did before. Cant run the subs off it but that was getting silly anyway.
Shame they way a tonne though!
So, Laney gear is great cheaper kit that does deliver IMO. I haven't tried the newer Laney stuff, but 13 yrs on amps seem to have come a very very long way!
