Fender Designed. The Duncan Designed said so on the pickups in white print. See @Gosho post. The Fender Designed had no print on the pickups.

According to BrownMark, his Prince-provided Jazz bass was stock. Which gives me more questions. LOL.

I had the version with the "Fender Designed" pickups. I'd love to A/B it with the original "Duncan Designed" pickups. Sounds great. It doesn't need any mods. Put on your favorite strings and get down.

You're right. It's not just pickups. Everything is upgraded. With the exception of the string tree. They had that in the last iteration of the MV series. I have a MV 5 string with that Sandberg style string tree.

Gregor says in the video a few posts above that the Kloppmann-less version is coming in a few weeks.
