Hi, I went through my dad's old storage and found this fender jazz bass. However, I have no clue what year or exact make it is. Hopefully someone can enlighten me with some knowledge about this instrument. Here are some photos.

Nice licks and all. But I think you overplayed just a tad bit. Especially on the verse, just too many octaves. On the other hand the chorus was fine :D...If i was you, I would save up my energy for the guitar solo, then I would just rip it up!:D

Haha I agree with Martin89. Don't over do it with the alcohol intake (if you drink). The most important part is to have fun, and to swing those hips for the ladies. They love that kind of stuff! :D

Yesterday I played my friend's Ibanez SDGR SR360. The frets are closer to one another than most usal basses. The neck is quite skinny, which make it easier on the hands. I would definitely recommend the SDGR SR or SRX series from Ibanez, or any Fender Jazz bass :D
