    Aguilar DB-112 Cabinet Covers

Their page doesn't list the DB112. Does the GS112 have the same specs?

    Is the cab still available?

    Aguilar - Official 'Tone Hammer 500' 3.8lbs 500w Megathread!

Not to mention getting the tweeter on the top cabinet closer to ear level. If I had ears on my kneecaps, a single cabinet would be sufficient. :-)

    SOLD FS: Bergantino HD112

Yes, awesome cab. My 2 cents: I believe the reason it hasn't sold is because it is overpriced. A pair of HD112's sold yesterday in less than 4 hours for $600 each, including cover and shipping. I purchased a used HD112 last year for $550 (including cover and shipping). Yes, it sucks to...

    Aguilar - Official 'Tone Hammer 500' 3.8lbs 500w Megathread!

Sigh. That poor CN112 sure looks lonely. I think it would be much happier with a brother. ;)

What Amp Head For Hartke 410XL Cabinet?

There's also the HA5500 if you need more power (500 watts at 4 ohms). They can be had for ~$500 new. I just sold my used HA3500 for $270, so used is definitely an affordable option.

Since we're talking 12s, give me some food for thought

I've owned the GB Focus, Hartke HyDrive,GK Neo, Aguilar DB, and the Bergantino HD. The Focus was the least favorite of the bunch, followed by the HyDrive. They weren't bad, but just not up to the sound quality of the other three. Given that you don't like the deep form factor of the DB112, I'd...

    NCD - DB112NT - oh yeah ! 2 questions ?!?

'Very nice. OK, now you just have to do something about the orientation of the badges. ;)

    NCD - DB112NT - oh yeah ! 2 questions ?!?

No, the 12" speaker is at the bottom of the cab, and the tweeter is on the upper left.

    NCD - DB112NT - oh yeah ! 2 questions ?!?

If I recall, the badges are held by two screws that screw into the wood under the grill. However, when the badge is relocated to the upper right (when oriented vertically), there is no wood directly under the grill fabric. For the moment, I simply screwed the badge through the grill cloth, so...

    NCD - DB112NT - oh yeah ! 2 questions ?!?

Yes. I was actually disappointed that Aguilar chose to save $4 by not including the bottom feet, when the other high-end brands, including Bergantino and Baer, ship them with 2 sets. Is it a showstopper? Of course not. However, it does come across as an unwise cost cutting move.

    NCD - DB112NT - oh yeah ! 2 questions ?!?

Thanks! I'm surprised you can see the badges through the glare of the blue LEDs. Damn, they're bright! ;-) The top cabinet is a DB112, and the bottom one a DB112NT, so yes, having the tweeter higher definitely helps. The badges are a pain. I loosely reattached them, and I'll be looking for...

    Mixing a Bergantino HD112 with a CN112?

Yeah, I'll think I'll give it a try. The resale market is great, so if I don't like the mixed rig, I can always unload the cab I like least. Thanks.
