Looks too small to be an Ampeg 8X10 SVT cabinet. More likely a 2X15, but they had a dolly affixed to the bottom so that side mount is likely a custom dolly setup.

Hey everybody I just slapped in a pair of Seymour Duncan Apollo pickups in my "made in mexico" Jazz Bass purchased in 2015 or so, as the bridge pickup stopped working and I figured might as well try new pickups since one is probably bad anyway . Also, I had noticed significant hum with the neck...

guys, my comment was about a negative experience with a speaker cabinet. I'm not dissing MarkBass products in general. The cabinet was the "floor model" from a retail guitar store, so it could have been 1/2 blown by someone "testing it out" . . . . . . .

All I know about MarkBass products, is a 4X10 cab rated at 500 watts I bought a couple of weeks ago, ran my vintage Ampeg V4B into it, WAY too much distortion even at low volume. Brought it back, exchanged it for Ampeg "heritage" SVT 4X10 (+ some additional coin). MUCH MUCH better.

same question - still available ? I'm in NJ too. From the pilot lights, it sure looks like 1960's vintage. Unfortunately original Ampeg employee and guru Dennis Kager passed away a couple of years ago, he could have identified this beast.
