If I'm seeing this right ( I'm new to building ), the router follows the path determined by the curved ends of the box the rails are sitting on? If I'm right ( LOL ) that's a cool jig and I would imagine a HUGE time, stress saver.

Thanks! And yeah, she plays loud, fast and heavy! Major influences are Entwistle and Lee ( and she can pull 'em both off in her sleep! She warms up with her drummer on YYZ ) So...flat it is!

Thanks BigB. In all likelyhood, I am going to keep it as "Rich" like as possible in that respect as that is what she is comfortable with and has been playing forever. Just curious as to what others think on the matter of angles. Thanks again for your input!

I have read about having 2 degreee angles and such with Fenders being straight etc. But my question is geared to the more "pro" builders and players in regards to personal preference. Plus, I have no idea if my wifes Rich is angled....4 string Eagle, circa 1984-ish. After a gig it is cleaned...

For those that have the know how, a question for you. Since what I am about to do is my first real build....should I have a neck angle on the bass? It's going to be a 5 string fretless, neck thru with a Badass bridge. I'm building it for my wife who plays pro and is a long time BC Rich Eagle...

I'm actually considering that move as well. The body design is kind of "Destroyer-ish" ( my wife wants something aggressive! ), so that may work balance wise.

Thanks for the info! Knowing it is soft, it will only be used on the inside of the wings and IF I can, it will only be used as a true "core" material. None will be on the outside edge of the body. That's the plan anyways : ) Thanks again!

I'm patiently waiting too : ) My Washburns have a FP style setup but my wifes bass ( she's the reason for the build ) has double that on her BC Rich Eagle. I'm even thinking it might be cool to "hotrod" hers and add another 2! Kind of like Ace Frehleys Les Paul.....just fill up the whole space...
