Because of the horrible soldering and rewiring done on it suggests the pickup was switched out.

The neck is in great condition it does need some cleaning and the lacquer cracking and flaking off.

yes, it does work but whomever did the soldering didn't know what they were doing and it's got some cold solder joints going on. I plan on re-soldering.

Nope it is going to be played I see no point in putting in a glass box for display.

I believe the numbers are 278 I was wondering if it could be feb 78??? LOL grasping at straws.. I am glad to see that the number 7 is indeed a German 7 with the slash through it and both numbers match up.
