We defretted my mexican p-bass. the red body was used just to clamp the neck down to the table. filled the fret holes with wood filler then coated the fretboard with epoxy.....LOTS of sanding! lol

I snapped a few shots of the Fretless P-Bass progress...It's all finished and though we ended up with a few blems (but so did Jaco) it is fully functional. ...and FUN too! :)

It really needed a fretjob that would cost more than the thing is worth & I can't afford to just BUY another jazz bass and so this one will no longer sit in the corner but will be out in daily use.....with a purpose.

Hi guys! I decided to defret my mexican P-Bass. Here's the beginning shot. Right now, as it sits, the frets are out & wood filler is in & drying. Next step, sanding, cleaning & applying the Poly. More pics to come!

Thank you Miles! I have since found the tone pool but there are no settings that reference Geddy's tone. I'm gonna have to buy the GED-2112 unit I guess.

Hey guys & gals! I'm looking for the section on amp settings & can't seem to find it. I'm trying to pull a Geddy-like tone out of my 500c because I no longer like it's tone. It sounds too flat & dull. Tried just tweaking the knobs & got a little better but nowhere near what I'm looking for...

I'm praying for the huge asteroid!
