I know quite a few upright players who are already using the MB800 and love the way it sounds.

I was just on facebook and saw a post about a new GK amp made specifically for upright bass. Looks to be based on the MB800 and targeted at guys who use a bridge and fingerboard pickup. Stereo input with separate volume/tone control for the fingerboard pickup. Have you guys heard anything...
