Yeah i thought of that also , and i thought it was better because in maybe i don't know let's say 6 months - 1 year i wan't to replace magnets or bridge or something . People already told me about the replacements for bridge,pickups... so i guess it's way easier to modify Squier

I thought if i get Squier to do the modifications later on , and thanks this bridge is awesome . I have a buget that's the problem so i can't get Ibanez 500 or something with that price :/

I don't have that much money but in couple of days i will go and try both of them and see , i don't know what to expect but i wouldn't mind if i get Ibanez instead of Squier , as i said if it's better sound ,the sound that i like more , i will get it , so we will see :cool:

To be honest they are both more suitable for this genre than my current bass , and now i'm just watching at that litlle differences that will decide what to get

Well i don't know exactly , this is my first bass i'm buying , i guess punchy, clear , strong sound , i don't know how to describe it but there is in one video i saw about Squier review but it concerned me because just 2 reviews sounded like that , and the rest all different i guess it's because...

I asked which is better , i liked Squire more but it doesn't mean alot if it's not going to suite for my needs

Thanks you helped alot , i will try to play both basses and decide but if not i think i would like Squier more and i read that a lot of people changed pickups on that Ibanez very soon after buying it

Yeah i know , but thanks , helpful , my only concern is for Squire not to fail on metal because it is 'Jazz bass' so that's what i'm afraid of

I watched and watched and the problem is that they don't have lefthanded (i am lefthanded by the way) and i'm going to try it righthanded same thing i mean for the Squier , and for Ibanez they're not so sure they will get it righthanded or lefthanded ... so that's my problem . And i listened to...

What bass to choose for metal(Pantera,Metallica,Ozzy...), rock (Steppenwolf,RHCP...) etc. Squier Vintage modified jazz bass 70' or Ibanez SR300 , i like Squier more but what do you think...
