    Teaching Credentials:
    Theory Faculty at Mannes College of Music in NYC for 10 years. Masters from Mannes College, DMA from SUNY Stony Brook. Private teacher since 1971.
    I give music lessons in our living room for most of my living, teaching double bass, electric bass, guitar in all styles (grew up playing jazz, majored in classical guitar at college), piano, trumpet and French Horn.

    I arrange, and accompany for my wife, Bronwen Eastwood, in her position as drama and music teacher.

    For the Jewish High Holy Days, I was director of choir, an a capella octet, from 1979 to 2015, at Temple Sinai in Dresher, PA, near where I grew up. I'm currently at Beth Zion - Beth Israel in downtown Philadelphia.

    I am Organist and Music Director at Bergen Highlands United Methodist Church in Upper Saddle River, NJ.

    I served on the faculty of the Mannes College of Music in NYC for 10 years in all three of its divisions: College, Extension, and Preparatory.

    I've studied double bass with Jeremy McCoy, assistant principal at the Metropolitan Opera in NYC.
