    Yamaha TRBX605 pickup wiring

Rewiring Yamaha TRBX 605 wih Audere preamp. The stock pickups have Positive, Negative, AND pole piece ground. I've followed directions from Audere, with correct connections as to not have popping when strings touch pole pieces, but continue to have loud pop when initially inserting cable into...

Its interesting how many musicians don't understand the basics of what is happening with Monitors and FOH and how what they want isnt really what they want. Its always a pain to explain to a singer that his monitor is so loud as to overpower the mains.

I've done FOH for small bands/gigs. With my limited knowledge and skill, I've found EQ, gain staging, mic placement, and levels, go the furthest to represent out front what the musicians give you. Cause thats all ive had to work with. Small 10-24 channel boards. Basic sound reinforcement and...

As everyone can tell by now, I've made up my mind about continuance with this band. But, I'll still answer questions about this because that seems everyone's getting a kick out of the stories

I've used a small Mackie board with an Alto TS310 10" powered pa cab as a monitor. Sounds great. But again, the splitting/ routing wasnt good enough. Even though it has 2 aux sends, monitor and effect. It wasnt "simple" enough.

Pick up shouldn't take long. All she has to do is put the drumsticks on the dashboard and park in a handicap spot

Its not ideal...again, overcomplication. What he thinks is simple is definitely not.

I've tried to give ideas about routing. Using a gig rig humdinger, or any other isolated splitter box directly after my bass guitar. But he says it's too complicated. I may just end up buying the damn splitter box myself, setting up the pedal board, and doing what you say
