I did install the La Bella's - perfect fit (standard EADG tuning): Nice tension. I was able to lower the action slightly, very comfortable for my left hand (occasionally visited by Mr. Arthur Itis...) Not quite the mid's of the standard Fender round-wounds, of course, but sweet...

Bongo: I haven't yet switched to the La Bellas, happy with the stock Fender round-wounds. If you're wondering about fitment, the 760FLs are spec'd for the Mustang - correct length for the 'Stang's through-body and tall headstock. See here: Invalid Link Removed stevene44

So, another one joins the pack. 3-color sunburst, sweet neck, delighted with the 'bucker (plenty of treble if you want it), flawless fit & finish, just a bit of intonation and string height adjustment needed, and these old hands really like the short scale. I had ordered a set of La Bella...

Thanks for the quick leads. Forgot about Rondo. I have two of Kurt's 'Douglas EGC-350' cases for a strat and a tele. Good quality for $63, suitable for schlepping around in the car, just not checking on a flight (!) I'll give his 'Douglas BGC-200' a try for the 'Stang. THX! -<stevene44>-
