Ibanez SR-500

I'm old school myself. Been playing for about 30 years now. To me, there is absolutely no energy on stage without amps!! I don't like giving complete control to someone else. I could never adapt to playing ampless??

Lol...thanks. not planning on losing it but what other acoustic basses do u recommend in that price range? I've never owned an acoustic bass and all I've ever played is Ibanez. Been playing for 30 years but i don't really like the Ibanez Acoustics.
