Can I join? I have a Markbass CMD151 Jeff Berlin and a NY151 extension cab. best bass rig I've ever used.

I sent PRS the pics of the neck joint and they gave me an RA number to bring it in for repair. I'm going to take in it in next week.

Is shielding needed with active pickups and electronics? The selling price for this guitar at MF is ~$2900, where do you see them in the low $2K's?

I've decided I'm not going to pursue the neck joint, It's hardly noticeable unless you really look closely at the area, a little touchup paint may be all that's needed to make it look better. I think the long bridge screws are to give better string break angle over the saddle but they don't...

I think I'm going to send them these pictures and see if they can do anything about it. Too bad I didn't notice it when I bought the guitar.

I went to Experience PRS this week and I bought one while I was there. Got a great price, 45% off list, on a 5 string and I got the back of the head stock signed by Gary Grainger, he plays in Paul Reed Smith's band and was there so I figured what could it hurt to ask. Nice guy, great player...

It was 1969 (I think) and the band name was 8th and Plum. Dana Havener - Lead Guitar and Vocals Ricky Melton - Rhythm Guitar Eddie Chonowski - Drums Jack Dillard (Me) - Bass The neighborhood we lived in was 8 miles from town and plumb nowhere!!!

Only Ibanez bass I've ever owned or played is the SR505. I love it, it's my go to bass. I prefer to play it over my old go to bass which is a Pedulla Thunderbolt 5. The neck and the weight are just so much more comfortable for me on the SR.
