By the by, the issue was the nut- gave it the old superglue and baking soda treatment and feeling much better with a redone slot

Im yet to change the strings so I don’t know! If I had a choice I’d get a burns haha, but this was too good to pass up

I had a short scale dano for a bit, sold it because the hollow Masonite body was just a little too light for me. I like a bass with heft! The neck felt great though.

Glad about dano then I guess- and glad I grabbed my rapier now… Not that I ever buy new basses so shouldn’t really matter to me haha

I ended up putting those entwistle P pickups in my old Japanese P copy. They’re really good, he’s a legend. Haven’t played one of the old Wilson’s, but they have cooler bridges for one! And I dig the massive sheet of metal in the middle of the guard
