OK, tried it. Not a huge difference on either my Tele or my Revstar. But the tint change was noticeable. For the price, it was not a big deal to give it a shot. Only one treatment on both guitars but I did a few applications each time - I’ll see how the next few treatments go (string changes).

Picked up a bottle of the Old English recently and after a few applications, it did not stain the dot inlays on my Tele or the block inlays on my Revstar.

I use flats for all music. You just can’t get the growl with rounds. Flats do require good technique and controlled muting for…, and I think that is what puts a lot of people off. Rounds are so forgiving of fingering mistakes… well, you get the point.

Yep.. flats react very well to the pick!

I really liked rounds until I bought a used Fender JB that came with flats.. fell in love, both feel and tone. No turning back.
