    SOLD Ibanez "ERGODYNE" EDB-600 $300

Just for the info. I have a Ibanez 600 and you will not find a better bass for this offering price - Great bass - sunstreak highs :o and a fat muddy bottom [whatever you choose to dial in] - looks great ( I regularly get comments on it like "cool bass" , "unique bass what kind is that"...

    Where to start.......

Good day to all and I thank you for taking time to read this post. I am a bass player who wants to begin building bass guitars. I have no tools, no experience and no idea how to start - so I new I should go to the experts - you guys:D I have no idea where to begin.. is there a school that...

    Lakland vs. Fender

What a retort - I'd best take my ball and go home.

    Lakland vs. Fender

Two to be exact. I played one six months ago in Birmingham Alabama owned by a Resturant Chain owner and the other is owned by my Step-Father. Would you like serial numbers?

    Lakland vs. Fender

Guys, Fender is great, and I love Fender Bass Guitars - lighten up a little - I am not trying to call Fender Custom bass guitars dogs - I just found ONE bass, ONE that is as good or better than any Fender I have come across. That it. My little opinion really doesn't even matter compared to what...

    Lakland vs. Fender

Dave; The pickups are Lindy's and there is something very, very special about the US made Laklands. I hate that I woke up 'super critic,' I don't care for the find anything wrong with a post and exploit it people. But, the Jo Oz is a phenom. I say that from having played Sadowsky and Fender...

    Lakland vs. Fender

Dude if you were Nike Taylor I'd ask you to marry me! {LOL} You said it exactly - the neck, which I am holding right now [or was until I started typing] is the most incredible neck on a bass I have ever felt, played or seen, ever. I understand the questions b/c until you have gigged a US...

    Lakland vs. Fender

I saw a mint 64' go for 26,000 two days ago - If you can find a mint/exc cond. 62' Jazz for less than the 30's PM me! Fast! OBTW - P-bass and J-basses sell for different prices - the J-bass Fenders are far more sought after.

    Lakland vs. Fender

Exactly my point....only you said it 100 times better 62' Fender Jazz = $39,000.00 07' Lakland Joe Oz = $3000.00 I personally think they are both "the best of the best" - it is just amazing that Lakland has done the impossible duplication.

Thanks - and I will be a little more selective about what I post in the future :hiding:

    Lakland vs. Fender

No harm, no foul. -- and I have a Peavey Fury which cost me about $200.00 dollars and it is one of my favorite rock bass guitars. I don't think a bass has to cost a lot to be a good bass - it is really a hit/miss project - everything must come together correctly and then you get lucky [or...
