Where to start.......

Good day to all and I thank you for taking time to read this post. I am a bass player who wants to begin building bass guitars. I have no tools, no experience and no idea how to start - so I new I should go to the experts - you guys
I have no idea where to begin.. is there a school that teaches this?..I just need someone who has some time to give me a heading to follow so I can begin doing something I love - they say if you love your work you will never work a day in your life...well I have been working for 19 years and I am ready to try to do what I love. Tremendous thank you to all who reply and God bless.

Yo Tbird!
I know there's tons of stickies at the top of this forum that you can take a look at. When I say tons, I mean tons. I would start there and ask the luthiers more specific questions down the road. Hope this helps you bro..
