SO, I ultimately bought an HX Stomp and I am NOT disappointed. There are SOOOOOOOOOO many tones to be coaxed out of this thing !! Thank you to everyone who helped me out. Much appreciated !!

Sorry for the newbie question here, but can someone help me understand exactly what the "+ Quote" / "- Quote" on a post does? The tool tip reads "Toggle Multi-Quote"...but it's not apparent to me what this actually does. Thanks in advance !! Ted

Ahh I see. Except I've been out of the market for such a unit for years and hadn't even heard of it. In any case, it's my 1st choice now and once again...thanks...for pointing me in this direction.

gtirard, I just have to ask you why you would make such an odd statement? WHY would you suppose I'd have something against a particular device? I'm not looking to be combative, I just find this statement so intriguing and it's been kicking around in my mind for days. :-)

UPDATE: So...what a disappointing trip to my local Guitar Center (West Springfield, Massachusetts). Basically, they had NO Bass Processors at all, and only a couple of guitar processors. I went in hoping to be able to demo: HX Stomp Zoom B3n Boss GT1000/core HELIX Even a Boss GT-1B ...but...
