    Amp tech recommendation?

Either Bob at Amphole in Burbank as has already been mentioned, or Revamp in LA. I've had work done at both and they're both great. Flip of the coin between the two, I'd trust and recommend either.

No longer available Hipshot "A" Style Bridges

Yes, 19mm plus the micro adjust and the three holes line up with the existing middle and two outer holes on a Fender (updated the original ad to include this). They're cool, I just personally prefer the Schaller roller bridges.

    SOLD 1973 Fender Precision Bass

Sweet early 70s P bass. Plays great. This had some weird Jackson-branded pickups in it when I got it, which I replaced with EMG GZRs and it sounds killer. I also put the black pickguard on it. As far as I know everything else is original. It's in awesome shape overall, with the nicks and dings...

    Ampeg 212AV NGD

I was beginning to think I was the only one... I tried a 212AV after reading so many reviews, posts, etc. that talked about how similar it is to the sealed Ampeg 10" cabs but I was super disappointed. It sounds nothing like my 810 or my 210AVs; not only that, but to my ears it just doesn't...

Did a total double take because this is EXACTLY like one I bought a few weeks ago. Killer bass. Good luck!

Ampeg Gurus - What year/model is this 8x10?

I have one. Like JimmyM said above, '80s MTI made in Japan. I've looked around a lot and there seems to be very little info about these. Speaker codes on mine are 285 which denotes Rola, which evidently were made by Celestion. Not sure of the power handling other than I'm sure it's lower than...

    Carvin Pro Bass 500

I had one for a while in the early '90s. I thought it was pretty dry and bland on its own, but it did really well with various dirt pedals. It was always solid and dependable.

    casters on svt1540

Kinda. I wanted to do something similar with my Ampeg 810, but it's too shallow front-to-back to be stable with casters attached directly to the bottom of the cab. I ended up buying one of Invalid Link Removed and bolting it to the bottom of the cab. (Obviously you have to be okay with drilling...
