    What are your favorite/coolest sounding scales?

    RE: "I dig the Phrygian Maj. Sounds quite exotic but not completely foreign." That's because it is basically a minor sounding scale played over perhaps a major chord. Starts from the third position and relates well to a lot of chord progressions. Almost has a dark semi blues feel.
