How do I start a new post/thread???

I feel stupid asking this question, but how the heck do I start a new post? I can reply to posts but have no idea how to start a brand new one. Nothing in the Help section (not very helpful). Thanks! Mike

Well, it seems to be there now. Perhaps there are some forums you can't create new posts/threads? Still wondering about that but found the "new thread" button at other forums.

Go to the forum in which you would like to place the thread, and then click the "Post New Thread" button in the upper right corner of the screen.

How did you do this post anyways? This is all I want to do.

Go to any forum that you want to post in, and click the button that says post new thread. Here's a screenshot from the TB default theme:

Depending on what you want to discuss, I'd probably post that in the Hardware, Setup & Repair forum.

Supporting Membership is only required to start new ads in the For Sale Classifieds and to respond to ads in the Wanted Classifieds

How do I end an old post/thread?

Right under every one of your posts there should be links for edit and delete. If it's the first post in a thread you can't delete it. If you would like a thread closed or deleted, you'd have to PM a moderator or "report" the post and request that it gets closed.
