Playing at a jam.

I get to play at a jam with guys are way more talented than me. We-play some songs i have never heard. We quickly go over chord progression. Fortunately one of the very talented guitar players I stand by will help me by calling out an unusual chord. A mega talented local talent guy comes in stage. Good personality. In a funny way He said I need Texas swing blues in A. Can’t say I heard of that beat! Turned out pretty good!

Good deal -- sounds like a rewarding experience. Keeping at it -- it's good to have to play some unfamiliar stuff (and play with players who can challenge you) now and then!
