Thanks for the reply. Yeah, you're likely correct. I thought that might be it, but my impression is that the fan runs all the time. Do you think the purpose is to feed a temperature back to the fan to regulate its speed? I'm trying to figure out what's going on here....

Looking under the hood of my Prodigy, there seems to be three 12v leads, one to the blue LEDs, one to the fan, and another to a small part fixed to the chassis. Does anyone know what this part is or what its purpose is? Thanks!
