    Double Bass French bow with a German grip?

    Sorry I was too fast. No I used french grip, holding the bassbow almost like the violinbow. However I could'nt get a proper tone so my luthier persuaded me to try a carbonfiber german bow. It works very fine for me. It is easier to play forte with the german bow.
