    Mine is only 3.5" and barely 2.5" when I'm sitting on the bike. Think I'm going to increase the preload by a half inch.

    Got the Sportster almost finished cosmetically. Just need to install the chrome rear wheel pulley cover and some rear axle bolt covers and that should be it for extra chrome.

    Finished up this 1983 Honda CB1000 Custom last week. Bought it two years ago in barely running condition. They only made around 1200 of these that one year, built in Marysville Ohio.

    Just got back from the Harley dealership to get a gasket for my Sportster's derby cover (upgraded to a Willie G Skull model and changed the oil). Felt strange being the only Yamaha bike in the parking lot, lol.

    Had a guy who was on his way to purchase a motorcycle engine from me last year via FB Marketplace. Not only did he not show up, he blocked me on Facebook. ***?!

    That sucks. I'm fortunate I live on a farm and have a 70x30 shed to store bikes and a 1000 square foot garage to work on them, lol.

    This implies you store your bike outside?! Sounds like that's part of the problem with moisture getting at electrical connections.
