Hey guys - complete novice with rack gear I have an ART VLA pro 2, ART MPA and a focusrite 18i20 All of which have front ears, but no rear ones Am i being stupid here? Will the front ears bare the whole weight of each piece of equipment, or do i need to buy additional fixings to support...

Hey cheers guys ! yeah rev will check it out Keep in mind that i dont think bass has done this to me, its my computer setup, i basically have just my hands on the desk its that narrow, with my arms slouched, putting pressure on my wrists , so im fairly sure thats what caused it!

Hey bass bros - basically, been playing fingerstyle for about 10 years now, and over the last 6 months its got painful (ish) to play for long periods of time (more than half hour i guess). Turns out its probably RSI, not from bass but from a horrendously small and physically limiting computer...

Turns out i cant hear 50hz and below very well. At a lecture about frequencies and they played a 50hz sine wave, i couldnt hear it, everyone else could. So most likely the problem is my ears hear the overtones and harmonics but not the bass. I feel like crying!

Alex webster tunes to that and does it on a spector euro you should be fine. Plus its long scale and neck thru so its gonna be the perfect bass to do it on! Might need to change the intonation a bit if its gonna be a permanent fix and possibly get someone pro to sort the truss rod out

oh and curbowkid, the actual low freq is lost on the string entirely compared to the E string, but i mean more that past 5th fret the notes sound less and less definied, and do have a slight flat feel to them, really lack any form of sustain or clarity

Im dropped down to Ab on it, but even in standard i have the issue. Its never sounded perfect but it is 6 years old, could it be the pickups progressively getting worse or something?
