    USB mixer ?

From what I've read, the Behringer mixers "mix down" to two-track for USB. Just so you know. To start with, I'd recommend the U222 (maybe UCA222? Not sure...but google Behringer 222 usb and you'll find it). Usually around $30, it's 2-in/2-out, with a "monitor" function. I've been recording...

Just picked up a imac....now what??

I'd like to toss my experience in for the two-channel/track options. I manage the recordings for our church services, and we have Behringer u222 hooked up; the recordings off of that sound great. (that is to say, the only problems in the recording have to do with sources, not with delivery :)...

The Praise and Worship Band Bassists Club Part 15

We have a similar issue at our church - but it's the WL on Guitar who's giving all the bass...so the bassist gets dialed out of the mix. Now that we've figured out our computer-based recording approach (only took a few years to work it out...), we can show what the "real" mix is, and how bass...

The Mediocre Bassist Club, pt. 3: MBC3

I may be mediocre, but I'm not bad! Had my first "Jam Session" with a drummer and guitarist. All of us forgot our cover song lead sheets/tabs...we we played around with a song the guitarist had written. I listened to what he was playing, watched where his fingers were (a little mental...

There's a new chain (about a year old...maybe two) called NYPD pizza...I have no idea if they're anything like what you would want. As for donuts...I can recommend Sugarbaby's on Redwood just south of 2100. but the *best* donuts I know of around here are at the Lehi bakery...take the roller...

Live in Draper, work in Murray. Boss lives in Sugarhouse, though...seems like the closest thing to "home" a New Yorker might find around here :)

Do you have words? I think I've played a "Lord of All" - but I think the one I've played was by Amy Grant. "...and crown him lord of all"

Thanks for the info on chords...i was reading something else after I posted this, and realized it was third in the scale, not third fret... Most of the time, we have contemporary Christian. Kinda pop-sounding stuff. Beyond that, I don't know how to answer that question...but if you asked...

I *am* a member of this club...just need a number so other's will know it, too! Questions that tell me I'm mediocre: * What's a 'walking bass line'? What's "walking"? * Root/third/fifth...that's semi-tones, right? So..a count of frets? And root is fret 0; so on the "E" for the "E"...
