    "Cheap" Wireless Gear Gig Worthy?

I'm an absolute fan of this wireless system. I've been using mine for the past 5 years & have had zero, count them, ZERO issues. No noticeable latency, ZERO signal drops or interference. Paid $65 new & it's worked flawlessly for every size of gig I've used it on. The only con I've ever...

    Why do folks cut strings?

I think the better question is why wouldn't you cut em? Or at least wrap em up all the way. Leaving em sticking way out to poke everything and everyone, to me just looks lazy and amateur-ish.

What’s the downside of Class D amps?

What do y'all think about the Hartke KB12? 12" Hydrive speaker, 500 watts, and only 28 lbs. Or does everyone here hate Hartke?

Hitting the stage .....Any Last Words?

No "mantra" per se but here's how I view stage fright: I'm a musician/entertainer, it's just what I do. When I'm up on that stage, that's where I'm supposed to be. The people in that crowd (or other musicians in the crowd) aren't supposed to be up there or else they would be. Obviously I can do...

    Hartke 410TP (Transporter) Cabinet

Here's my 2 cents... I found a hell of a deal on a full Hartke stack; HA3500 head, 4x10 transporter cab, & 1x15 XL cab. And I'll tell you, both cabs are sweet. The only things I've noticed that they shortcutted on was the side handles & the jack & jackplate. I've used only the 410TP for many...

    Kapok basses

Does anyone have any experience with Chinese made Kapok basses? This one appears to be a copy of a Schecter stiletto. Left-Handed 5 String Electric Bass Bolt-On Maple Neck & Fingerboard KB5L-200F-SB

    What stops stage fright

Here's how I view stage fright: I'm a musician/entertainer, it's just what I do. When I'm up on that stage, that's where I'm supposed to be. The people in that crowd (or other musicians in the crowd) aren't supposed to be up there or else they would be. Obviously I can do something they can't or...

Quick question for those of you that play five string exclusively...

I started on a 4 in about 1990, got my 1st 5 about 2 years ago & to me there's just no turning back. Only way I'd go back to a 4 is if I found a wicked deal on a lefty Rickenbacker 4001 or 4003.
