I'm using an Apogee but with an iPad 3 so no lightening. Love the retina display! So much nicer than my wife's iPad 1 display.

Jammit has score and tab. My only issue with it is you have to buy bass and guitar separate but I play both. It's another good option though.

I do but tabs give you the fret number right on the note where you are already looking. Rocksmith wants you to look in two places at once and try to line them up as they move around zooming in and out. Who thought that was a good idea?

It's a good tool for practice but it does have some issues. The main ones are there is a bit of latency and the presentation of the music is game style rather than actual music notation or even tab. To get past the game starting songs on an easy level with few notes you need to go to riff...
