    American deluxe Jazz Bass 5 issue

    Hi all hopefully someone can shed some light on this issue . Just got a 2014 Jazz 5 american deluxe and noticed while fretting a g note on e string (3rd fret } the tone got real muddy (like some type of modulation was going on )playing whole notes and not too bad playing quicker 1 /16 notes...
