Moving Kahler tremolo arm out of the way

Thanks for this reassuring information. I was just worried that I might destroy the bridge by leaving it loose. But as Garth also shows in that video, he leaves it really loose, and you can see and hear it moving and clanking a bit in its place, so I’m starting to believe it is safe.

Moving Kahler tremolo arm out of the way

Does anyone have experience or knowledge of the correct way to move the Kahler bass tremolo arm out of the way? The arm is directly screwed and tightened to the bridge, and the only way I can see to move it out and back seems to be loosening and tightening it. I worry this will destroy the...

The Sushi Box FX Secret Society

My Slampegg is still on it's way. Last seen on getting to the plane from US to Finland :) so I guess is somewhere in customs limbo waiting to be scanned. I am not surprised though as customs handling has been super slow here lately.

Musicman Sterling Bass Club, Part 2

I have settled on using D'Addario super light gauge nickel rounds (EXL220BT) on my Sterling 4H. I have also used stainless steels but nickel strings seem to fit better on Sterling for me as they are a bit smoother.

Musicman Sterling Bass Club, Part 2

Do you have the same issue with both series mode (switch towards neck) and parallel mode (switch towards bridge)? It might help a bit to use bass in parallel mode as it tames midrange quite a bit and also has less hot output. One solution is also changing the ceramic pickup to alnico. I have...

    Line 6 HX Stomp

"Hitting the rails" is the term used by Robert Gallien for what happens when you crank boost button and get that unique growly overdriven sound. Here is a demo I found describing that

    Line 6 HX Stomp

I someone here using the GK800 sim (Cougar 800)? It would be interesting to know how it compares to real GK. Like does it have the bi-amping modelled and more importantly does it "hit the rails" like real one :) I have been using GK Amplification 2 Pro plugin when working with DAWs and I think...
