i tried connecting the jacks together with a cable and had no luck. its still just dead signals. i hope i can fix this lol

i am having problems with my gallien krueger backline 115; it was working fine for awhile and all the sudden recently it would cut to this very low distorted signal and then back in. and now i just cant get it to work. for awhile i though it was my cable. but now i think its the input jack...
