Out of curiosity, is having the bass on it's back just an overall bad idea? I know you're not supposed to store it like that, but would it be ok on an hour and a halfish drive like that?

Thanks so much for the reply. Whats the actually installation process for the bridge? Do I set the feet in position and then pull the bridge up? I really don't know what to expect with the "shipping bridge"... Do I have to loosen the strings at all or will they just slip on? I really can't...
