@REMBO To me, that bass is screaming for a set of DR Black Beautys. The nice shiny metallic strings just "pop" to much on a bass like that.

Through on top of that, my iPhone has a glitch where the keyboard will go back down in the middle of typing (haven't had it happen to much lately). So I'll be typing and it'll go down, and I click the post button.:mad:

@cfsporn If you need to replace it, here is the cheapest NOS one I have found: VINTAGE SYLVANIA RADIO ELECTRON TUBE JAN-CHS-6SL7WGT DATED 3/57 You may be able to find one cheaper. I only really looked on Ebay.

@cfsporn If you have a multimeter you can do a simple test to see continuation with the following link: TDSL Tube data [6SL7-WGT] It should tell you if there is a short.

If you hear rattling in a tube you should replace it. Better safe than sorry. If you hear rattling that means something is loose in there.
