i got the bass yesterday. it sounds pretty good with the upgraded pups. but i noticed the B string is pretty muddy for my tatse. any suggestions?

Thanks for the help guys. Do any of y'all have any experiance playing this bass. The guy I am trading for it says he has replaced the pick ups with EMG's and has put in a EMG preamp. I know playing it is the only way to know for sure but he is driving 2 hours to meet me and I don't want to waste...

i put a badass II on it and used ernie ball slinkys. i think the e string was .110, i think. so yes i did. still not what i wanted though. i am thinking about getting a new bass now. nice tax return.

i have a 2006 MIM delixe active jazz bass. i run it through a markbass little mark head with a ampeg SVT 410 HLF cab. i just replaced the bridge with a badass 2. But i am still not getting the low end i want. i am happy with the tone on all my strings but my E string. Thinking about changing...
