Will Bill Lawrence Pickups stay afloat after he passes?

I'm here from the future of 2023 and yes it does. Bill will pass on November 2, 2013. Hope this eases your mind. Future out.

What parts of an old bass improve with age?

None. If you like pickups with less output and rolled off a bit you can claim pickups but in reality nothing. While if maintained well nothing will deteriorate, it won't magically get better in anyway from time passing.

    Doctor's appointment at 4...can't practice at 6!

Based on this info yeah screw jamming. you guys are nowhere near committed and invested enough to be skipping appointments etc. and it being a "problem". Only 7 meetups for like what 20 plus weeks or so of time since you started? I mean this tells you the reality of the situation right here.

    Doctor's appointment at 4...can't practice at 6!

When you're in your 70's yeah shag band practice and go the appointment. Appointments are harder to reschedule and help you live longer to have more time to practice. You guys could play another day of the week, double up the time next week or stay with me, heaven forbid you skip a week.

Should I trade a squire p for Epiphone eb 3

NO Unless the SG gets you sprung for some reason there is way to many reasons not to. But it has to be at least this sprung to go through with it.

Ampeg Micro VR good for gigs?

Depends on your scenario in a unmiced situation. I had a 300 watt head into a 8x10 and had to push it to the limit. I got there but it didn't have anything left and didn't sound as good as it could have. So is it loud. Yes but not loud enough for everyone when it comes to be unmiced and the...

Ampeg Micro VR good for gigs?

If your playing gigs with a real sound system that's run by real techs meaning proper FOH support and monitors that actually let you hear what you are doing yes it will work. If your asking if it would sound fine in the right environment the answer is yes. If your asking if the head can push...

Professional Concerns About Geddy Lee Bass

You bass is fine I had plenty of groups come through with MIJ and MIM Geddy's and if it was affecting my sound system its was not the actual issue and just exposing a issue I need to address and fix. Get a better sound guy or play venues with better sound men. Unless you have some serious...

3 hour nightime outdoor gig on New Years in New Enlgand. Would you do it?

More about your threshold for the cold. 45 is spring short weather for some and a cold day in hell for others.

3 hour nightime outdoor gig on New Years in New Enlgand. Would you do it?

Would it be the best gig? No, but it's doable without heaters as far as problems from the cold not popping up except for comfortably for some. Yesterday in Vermont it was 45 and I could rock sandals without socks and shorts and play on stage like that for hours.

3 hour nightime outdoor gig on New Years in New Enlgand. Would you do it?

At this point by the look of the temps you would be fine even without any heater support.
