    Traveler TB-4p loose wire?

Hi, Can anyone out there help me with with some info on which solder joint the yellow wire is attached from the main pcb. At a guess it is either to the ear phone pins or to the input jack. I say this because the tags have been tinned with solder. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. Tom

is it worth buying a 5 strings ?

I'll put it this way! In the early days when Mozart was alive the piano in use in the 18th century was simply 5 octaves. Just look at his piano compositions, all within 5 octaves! Time has moved on, the standard piano is now 7 1/4 octaves. No one in their right mind would stick a 5 octave...

    Fretless Electric Bass String Poll!

Ernie Ball slinky roundwound on the fretted, expermenting with different flats for the fretless which is turning out to be +@%? expensive.

Excellent, I'll get on with it and hopefully when things settle in (new strings-new bass) I will record something for reference. Thank you Michael, stay safe.Tom

    Yamaha TRB-6P Fretless.

Michael, once again I appreciate your help. I will give these strings a try. I also viewed on You Tube 'The ultimate bass string shootout' on Scotts Bass Lessons, maybe a Black Nylon set if they do them for a six string?? Tom.

    Yamaha TRB-6P Fretless.

Yes, I understand. Soooo, just exploring all options especially if someone owns the same fretless and uses flats with tapered. Thank you Michael.

    Yamaha TRB-6P Fretless.

Nut to bridge is 35". The longest string distance on this bass from ball end side of the bridge to the tunning post is 41" and that is for the A string. I would like to add that I would prefer tapered strings on the low B and E over full wounds to make the strings sit better on the bridge...

    Yamaha TRB-6P Fretless.

Just purchased a TRB-6P fretless with roundwound strings and would like to hear if anyone uses flatwound medium/light on these. There does not seem to be much of a choice on extra long flats. Tom.
