You are correct...it is the Special, not the classic. My mistake. Anyone have any luck changing pick ups for a punchier tone?

After owning 3 previous Sting Rays, all of which weighed a ton, I bought a Classic SR (a new one) because they were so light. It just doesn't have the punchy tone the old ones had, maybe because of the lighter weight? Anyone else experience this and what did you do to correct this issue.
