    I like the brightness and sustain that brass nuts add to open notes and I find them aesthetically pleasing as well

    Hey guys I got a mid 80s fretless special jazz that needs a new nut. I intend to replace with a brass nut but I don't know if the bottom of the nut is flat or curved. If anyone here knows the shape id appreciate the help as I don't want to do too much sanding/adjusting on a brass nut.
