    Amp buzzes when turned on

    I have a small, cheap amp - (15W gear4music) that emits a high pitched buzzing noise (like on an old LW/MW radio not tuned into a station) when turned on with the volume on anything but 0. The noise increases in volume as the volume of the amp is increased. Any thoughts - easy fix? Just trying...

    Hmm - Caig DeOxit is pretty expensive and I'll probably never use it again. I was planning to use a small amount of wd40 contact cleaner. Is this likely to damage it?
